With so much Social Media around, I’m not sure if all the rhetoric that gets produced has always been there, or is it now just so much noisier because of all the platforms that it can be broadcast on.

The problem with so much noise is that it is becoming more and more difficult to find a signal – it might be a new investment opportunity or trend, it might be something that improves the quality of life for one persons or millions.

That doesn’t mean we give up the hunt for signal’s it just means we need to find a way to get “quiet”, to think and search for what’s important.

Two enormous events are underway right now – the CES conference in Vegas and the JP Morgan healthcare conference in San Francisco. There will be an enormous amount of noise coming from these events, but somewhere there will be some amazing signals to be discovered.

Finding the gems amongst this noise is what makes investing and living in this current world so amazing.

People are finding new and unique ways to solve problems that lead to a better way of life for people every day. Here’s to the noise and the hunt for signals.
